Guy W. Brentlinger of
Lima, Ohio, was a Director of Lions International, having been appointed to that
office by the International Board of Directors in Chicago, Illinois, in
September, 1945.
Lion Brentlinger had
served the Lima Lions Club as second and first vice-president, director, and 1933-34
as president. In 1935, Brentlinger was elected to serve on the Executive Council Board of
Directors of Lions Clubs International.
He also served as
District Governor of District 13-A during the year 1934-35.
He was a Key member.
Director Brentlinger was
born in Lima, Ohio, and received his education in that city.
He was assistant to the
President of the Lima Telephone & Telegraph Company, and had been with that
company for over 37 years.
He was a member of the
Board of the Grace Methodist Episcopal Church of Lima, and was also an active
Mason, being a Past Commander of Shawnee Commandery and Knights Templar of Ohio.
Lion Brentlinger was
married and had five children.
